Welcome to Aurora Jet, home to the finest hand crafted Whitby jet jewellery. We are a small independent family business specialising in the creation of beautiful jet jewellery. Every piece is expertly crafted by hand in our historic Sandgate workshop in Whitby's famous jet manufacturing district.
Our family's journey into the world of jet began in 1872 with jet carving and here at Aurora Jet we have 38 years of experience of identifying and collecting the finest quality jet from our local shores. Using traditional techniques passed down through the generations, we give the raw jet its signature black mirror shine, combining it with solid British hallmarked precious metals to create the beautiful finished piece.
In addition to our wide range of classic and contemporary pieces we welcome custom orders. We know that every piece purchased has a special meaning to you and we are committed to delivering excellence with both our products and customer service.
